This mission-driven company has a strong track record of success in landing non-dilutive funding for their customers. Due to unprecedented demand for their services they are growing the team by hiring an additional three Lead Grant Writer(s).

Your Impact (Responsibilities)

This position has significant growth potential, and will provide you with a unique opportunity to leverage your proven grant writing and management skills to help develop an ambitious venture in an under-resourced part of the climate industry. We are looking for mission-driven talent, who are self-starters. In addition to grant writing responsibilities, we are seeking people who can proactively work with clients to refine projects and business strategies to increase likelihood of funding. You will work with senior staff, funding director and other grant writers to bring high-quality proposals through the entire development cycle, supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

About You

• 5+ years of experience in a similar grant writing, technical writing or proposal development role
• Proven track record of winning large federal grants, 8 figure awards ($10M+)
• BA or BS in scientific/technical field or English/writing. Priority given to applicants with graduate degrees
• Scientific and/or technical knowledge is necessary to engage the climate and technical subject areas (IE - experience with energy systems, material science, batteries, industrial decarbonization, life science or biotech solutions and food systems experience)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong mission-alignment and the understanding of the importance of addressing climate change immediately
