Your Impact (Responsibilities)

In this role, you’ll work with other Transmission Planning Engineers, Software Engineers, and the Founders to build products that help renewable developers put together successful project portfolios.

• Work with software engineers to codify your knowledge and implement robust transmission planning study automation
• Touch the full product life cycle including product ideation, building products, supporting sales, providing customer support, and maintaining products
• Become a subject matter expert in various regions (e.g. RTOs/ISOs) to lead implementation of various study methodologies and assumptions

About You

• You have 3+ years of running studies as a Transmission Planning Engineer
• You have experience with generation interconnection related studies. You already have a sense of what data renewable developers need to build a portfolio of successful projects.
• You have hands on experience with tools like TARA, PSS/E, Power World, PROMOD, etc.
• You want to learn how to engineer software. You’ll work directly with some of the best software engineers in the world to create products. If you already code or are eager to learn, this is likely the highest value opportunity in the space to grow those skills.
• Experience with python is a plus
