We are partnering with profitable and fully remote climate tech startup that has developed a Software platform to help renewable energy developers fast track their installation projects.

Your Impact (Responsibilities)

As a Technical Product Manager you will lead new product work in the exciting world of Transmission Engineering. It'll be a unique blend of PM-ing a traditional software product, while having to go deep on a niche domain . You should be comfortable becoming an expert in a domain you've never heard of (Transmission). We're launching a variety of new products, so you should be comfortable with high autonomy and ownership. Most importantly, you should be passionate about fixing our climate! Some example projects:

• Launching new features in the US markets we're active in
• Launch new markets in the US
• Build MVPs for new adjacent products we're exploring
• You'll spend ~3 hours a week doing user interviews to learn about workflows and gather feedback.
• You'll manage small teams of 3-4 folks. (1 PM, 1 or 2 SWE and 1 transmission planning engineer)
• You'll spend a few hours a week with transmission engineers getting into the nitty-gritty technical details of transmission.
• You'll translate user requirements into Figma mockups with the help of designers.

About You

• You are a Product Manager with 3+ years of experience bringing highly technical SaaS products to market
• You have previous experience in a niche technical domain (THIS IS IMPORTANT)
• You are a product-minded: you enjoy thinking about the whole picture and talking to users
• You demonstrate continuous learning throughout your career
• You can operate in ambiguity and excited to take ownership
• Technical Skills: Figma, Agile, product research, Prototyping, UX, A/B Testing, Data Analysis
• Plus: Experience working in the utility industry or projects supporting electric transmission, distribution and substation design
